THE 2027 - 2028 SEASON

For 18 years, Geodesic Management has brought exceptional family entertainment and educational programming to Performing Arts Centers, fairs, festivals, and communities throughout North America. We are proud to continue that tradition with an exciting and eclectic lineup for the 2027–2028 season.

This season features new offerings from The Treehouse Shakers, Literature to Life, and The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, alongside a dynamic collection of touring favorites. From literature and STEM/STEAM to contemporary circus, SLAM poetry, music, dance, and interactive theater, these performances offer engaging experiences for audiences of all ages.

Unleash the power of a book! Literature to Life returns with its popular Living Library title, Zora Folk Tales. Designed for elementary audiences, this interactive performance introduces students to the art of storytelling through the work of celebrated author and anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston. Featuring several folk tales drawn from Hurston's collections, the performance invites students to help shape what happens next. Through lively audience participation, humor, and timeless stories, young audiences discover how storytelling helps us better understand ourselves, our communities, and the wider world.

The Treehouse Shakers present Mary Cassatt and Me An original play for ages 4-10. Composed of a diverse ensemble of four, the story follows Lucy, a young girl who makes friends with her upstairs neighbor, a retired art teacher, who often shares his knowledge about the many impressionist painters, particularly the American artist Cassatt. Told through theater, dance and puppetry, as well as projected and interactive videos in which the performers use the images as scenery, color washes, and climactic moments within the performance. Lucy takes audiences on a vibrant & visual journey through colors, shadows and light, as well as the paintings of Cassatt and her contemporaries.

A slate of shows will tour from The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati including two festive titles that are perfect for the holiday season! Bah Humbug! A One Man Christmas Carol offers a fresh and uniquely entertaining take on the Dickens classic. Every character—from Scrooge to Tiny Tim—is brought to life by one remarkable performer. In The Day Before Christmas a cold hearted Jack Frost decides to freeze all Christmas festivities, causing chaos and calamity. Will everyone at the North Pole (and in the audience) help to save The Day Before Christmas, or will Christmas be forever brrrr-oken? Also from TCT - watch as Dr. King tells the story of his life, from his childhood in the Deep South all the way to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where he delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in Martin's Dream. Goldilocks Rocks! the familiar fairy tale gets a high-energy remix filled with funny characters, music, movement, and audience participation as Goldilocks mic-drops her way into the world of the three bears.

Minneapolis based Shapeshift Dance will tour Be Your Own Superhero Illuminating the journey of 8 friends discovering what it takes to be heroes in their own community. Against the backdrop of a vibrant city, these close-knit friends encounter challenges that lead them to learn empowering lessons of empathy, hard work, caring for the earth, and knowing what it means to help our neighbors. Set in the classroom and led by their beloved teacher Mr. G, they share their story in becoming their own Superhero!

Are you ready for some hair-raising science, toe-tapping music and mind-blowing media? Mister C Live! is back on the road with three exciting STEM/STEAM productions: Air Is Everywhere, The World In Motion and When Science Goes Viral. Through high-energy demonstrations, music, multimedia, and plenty of audience engagement, Mister C brings science to life in ways that are entertaining, accessible, and unforgettable.

The Griffin Theatre Company (touring favorites Frindle, The Stinky Cheese Man, Astronaut Group I and more) and inventive contemporary circus by Parallel Exit.
