Most accounts and stories of the American Revolution focus on battles, documents and the founding fathers. But behind every turning point were ordinary men, women and young people whose bravery and sacrifice helped shape a nation.
Revolution 1776 weaves together a rich tapestry of personal stories, including wives who kept the home fires burning as their husbands went off to fight, teenage boys sharing their first-hand experiences in battle, and a determined young girl who lent her support to George Washington’s troops during  the bitter winters, among others. Revolution 1776 creates a vivid and immersive experience that allows audiences to connect with the past on a personal level, fostering a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made and the diverse cast of characters that played pivotal roles in our fight for independence. This play serves as a poignant reminder that history is made not only by leaders but also by the everyday people who dared to stand up, speak out, and fight for their beliefs.
