Lloyd Dobler Effect has been selected as a John Lennon Songwriting finalist for their song "Meet Me In London". Phil Kominski says "it's a pretty big deal, thousands of bands submit their songs each year". Meet Me In London was first runner up in the "rock" category.

A Moving Sound

Lonely Planet, producer of travel guides and the television program "Six degrees" which is broadcast primarily by The Discovery Channel, came into Taipei 9 months ago to film an episode of their show. They chose AMS lead vocalist Mia Hsieh as one of the featured characters on the program and show her leading a workshop as well as performing with A Moving Sound in concert at Taipei's beautiful Red Theater. AMS is wonderfully presented in the show with music from the CD beautifully woven throughout the program. Lonely Planet projects that this episode will be seen by an estimated 500,000 viewers in up to 100 countries.
