The Passing Zone

May 18, 2009 by Dan

Geodesic Management is thrilled to announce The Passing Zone to our roster. The PASSING ZONE.... They're like The Flying Karamazov Brothers (but more hip), Penn & Teller (but cleaner), The Smothers Brothers (but younger), Cirque du Soleil (but American), Blue Man Group (but less blue), the Blue Collar Comedy Tour (but funny), and Carrottop (but less, well, Carrottoppy), all rolled into one!!

GET READY FOR THEIR BRAND NEW SHOW - GRAVITY ATTACKS!

Everyone loves this show. Your grandma will love it, so will your 7-year-old, so will your teenager.

If you are looking for an exciting evening of great theater, you won't find anything better!

It's hip enough for the hipsters, clean enough for the youngsters, and charming enough for the oldsters.

And for Performing Arts presenters, you must see The Passing Zone's new show, Gravity Attacks!, where they are asking you to join them in the fight against Gravity.

Join the fight!

Nick Motil

May 17, 2009 by Dan

Singer/Songwriter Nick Motil has signed to the Geodesic Management roster. Sharing the spotlight with artists Jason Mraz, Chantal Kreviazuk, The Verve Pipe, Keller Williams, Everclear, The Calling, Duncan Sheik and others; Nick Motil has sold over 5,000 copies of his music in just over two years. Three albums in three years and hundreds of shows later, Nick Motil is just getting warmed up.

Nick Motil creates songs you can relate to. His songs take you to a place you've never been, but feel like you've lived there all your life. His live performances capture you, draw you in, and make you sing along... even if you're unsure of the words. The humor Nick Motil displays on stage breaks the ice to an evening-long conversation in which the stage becomes a living room. Kick off your shoes and enjoy.

After all, "everything's better barefoot."

A Moving Sound

May 11, 2009 by Dan

Lonely Planet, producer of travel guides and the television program "Six degrees" which is broadcast primarily by The Discovery Channel, came into Taipei 9 months ago to film an episode of their show. They chose AMS lead vocalist Mia Hsieh as one of the featured characters on the program and show her leading a workshop as well as performing with A Moving Sound in concert at Taipei's beautiful Red Theater. AMS is wonderfully presented in the show with music from the CD beautifully woven throughout the program. Lonely Planet projects that this episode will be seen by an estimated 500,000 viewers in up to 100 countries.
